In 1992, Kricfalusi was fired due to the overuse of violence, gross-out humor and the general undisciplined methods & schedules Spumco used to create each episode. Created by the Canadian animator John Kricfalusi and animated by his Spumco studio, the show became a huge success. Original Run The Ren & Stimpy Show premiered on August 11th, 1991 on Nickelodeon.
